Trial run

So far I think taking care of a baby is easy.  He doesn’t have to eat, he doesn’t sleep, he doesn’t cry and he doesn’t poop.  Our only concern is that he may get made fun of for being more hairy then the other kids.

I have no idea how far along Chelsea was in these pictures, I am simply grateful I remembered to take pictures.  Can you put these in order?  

Cross Country Skiing

If our kid has some unexplained aversion toward cross country skiing, I would understand why.  A few weeks after Chelsea and I learned she was pregnant, we thought it would be a good idea to cross country ski at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid.  We may have even been on the expert level trail.  The challenge of the trail is only relevant because Chelsea and I have only been cross country skiing a handful of times; we were ambitious to say the least.   

Well, I got the most points for pure number of falls but Chelsea takes the cake for hardest, “I hope the baby’s ok” type fall.  For the record she and the baby were just fine, but we definitely gave the baby good reason to hate cross country skiing. 

Also, we forgot our camera this trip so we purchased a disposable camera that uses film and then I took a digital picture of the picture to post, hence the blurry 70’s kind of vibe.
